Steve Perry Fans Never Lose Hope!

There's been a lot of talk lately on YouTube about Steve Perry fans needing to give it a rest.  Here are my thoughts.

One of my favorite movies is "A Christmas Story" which is based upon the memoirs of Jean Shepherd.  I'm not saying that my writer's voice is anything like Jean's.  But, I will say that I admire his voice and aspire to his level of genuine warmth.  I'll probably never get there.  However, it doesn't hurt to try.

Here's a short story I wrote a few years ago that is all about dealing with the harsh fact that you are someone's "third best friend".  I hope you like it.
