Andy James - Chester the Chubby Elf
I know we just got done with Christmas...but I found this amazing holiday song at a local thrift store. Take a listen and I think you'll agree that Rudolph the Reindeer has nothing over Chester the Chubby Elf when it comes to saving Santa Claus!
The Fine Art of Being Alfred, short story by J D Sundstrom
One of my favorite movies is "A Christmas Story" which is based upon the memoirs of Jean Shepherd. I'm not saying that my writer's voice is anything like Jean's. But, I will say that I admire his voice and aspire to his level of genuine warmth. I'll probably never get there. However, it doesn't hurt to try.
Here's a short story I wrote a few years ago that is all about dealing with the harsh fact that you are someone's "third best friend". I hope you like it.

Steve Perry's Special Valentine
Recalling a charitable act of generosity that former Journey lead singer did a few years back right before Valentine's Day to help promote awareness around Parkinson's disease.
Steve's charitable act is inpiring me to do something similar each Valentine's Day going forward.

In this episode of "Wide World of Sodas", Scott and I crack open a bottle of Pete's Pumpkin Patch soda and talk about guitar legend, Carlos Santana.
If you like Journey or Rick Springfield, Check out Waltham
Man, I love Waltham. I can't, for the life of me figure out why these guys haven't found more success. Click on the video to learn a little bit more about a great pop rock band from Waltham, Massachusetts.
